Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?
I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:
1. Queen's
2. McMaster
3. York
4. Humber-UNB
Has anyone completed the Physiology course requirement (for U of T) through Athabasca University? It seems like the course requirement is BIOL230, please see the link below.

If anyone has completed it, can you share what your thoughts are? I'm deciding between this course and the online physiology offered through the U of T School of Continuing Studies.

I was just wondering when do you request to send new transcripts through OUAC for the Winter term? Do you have to wait until all your grades are up? I applied to McMaster (I'm not sure if its specific for certain schools).
Hey there!
I emailed Mac's admissions last week because I had the same question. I was told they won't require your final transcript unless you receive an offer. I'm not sure about other universities; I'd follow up with them via email or look at their COVID-19 policies regarding admissions.
Best of luck to you during this waiting period! ?

Hi there! I don't know if its different for different schools. For York, their website has a spot for me to add my prerequisite grades from the Winter term. UofT also asked for a list of prerequisites in progress, so I will be uploading my unofficial transcripts for both of these schools as soon as I have my grades for this term. If they require an official transcript, I'm guessing that will be after someone has been accepted.

Hey,
I am completing this course right now actually. Not for U of T but other programs I am applying for. I started taking it in January and I am almost finished. I am finding it pretty chill - but I do have a undergrad in science and have come across a lot of these topics before. Basically it's self guided learning through the online textbook and there's wiley plus for practice questions (which I find extremely useful). The textbook is super clear and easy to understand, I am actually enjoying the material a lot. Exams are very straight forward multiple choice - not tricky at all. They are done through proctor U, so you can write in the comfort of your own home but you are watched through a webcam to make sure you don't cheat. Quizzes are a bit harder but you can use your notes. Assignments are long but straight forward and easy. Let me know if you have any other specific questions, I am happy to help! ?
Hey everyone! I know I already posted this but has anyone heard from and is planning to go Western? So far, I haven't seen or heard anyone else that is going! I would love to connect and get to know my future peers! Let me know ?
PS. CONGRATS on everyone getting accepted into their programs so far! And for the people who haven't heard back yet do not lose hope!! There is still a lot of time to hear back ? Goodluck!
@Appletizer I have and I strongly suggest that you choose a different school to complete that course.. Its a waste of money and I didn't have the best experience. Anatomy and physiology is a very heavy course and it's best to have an in-person instructor if possible as you really need to understand the concepts fully. I found the exams extremely difficult which you take at a test centre. I ended up retaking the course through York in person for a better mark and ended up with an A+ for both parts. If you can take it at York University I highly recommend it. Hope this helps!

From my experience, the latest you (should) hear back about rejection is June from U of T. Keep sending positive thoughts out!
