Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2020

Hey, I used to creep these forums for the past few years and they helped affirm my decision to apply to nursing school for Fall 2020. I didn't see one started for next year so I thought, why not start one?

I graduated a while back so I'm a bit older, but my top three choices are:

1. Queen's

2. McMaster

3. York

4. Humber-UNB

I just got into York!

It didn't show up on OUAC or my email but on MyFile it shows as Admitted!

Thanks everyone! Also I have to accept or decline my offer by April 13th so I am assuming that's when another round of offers will be ?

CONGRATS!! Yes that’s an in loll. I received an email from york a day after and OUAC got updated then too, so don’t worry!

I wonder how these acceptance processes work. I'm just a little concerned now because I also applied to Western with about 3.9/4.0 but I haven't received an acceptance. I really hope the fact that I took a reduced course load last year doesn't screw me over... ?

I only took 3 courses online for last term and this term as I’m in australia so I don’t think that’ll have an effect! We also don’t know how much Casper was weighted on the admissions, although I didn’t think I did exceptionally well on it, who knows. That’s an awesome GPA I’m sure you’ll here back soon! Mine is only showing on my student center not ouac.

I also applied with a 3.9/4.0 GPA to Western and I took a reduced course load in one of my terms during 3rd year. It could be our CASPer scores? but we'll just have to wait and see! ?

Hey! Check your spam/promotion folders, because I found my offer there (and then couldn’t log on for a bit because I forgot my user ID and password, heh). I also have a 3.9/4.0 and did my CASPer on the 23rd of Feb. Still waiting on McMaster and UofT.

Me too! I didn’t think I did well on CASPer at all and was quite bummed about it for a while. I hope this means our scores are fine? Other schools I’m waiting to hear back need it too. I hope it’s OK.
