Hello Everyone,
I am currently a third year York University student hoping to apply for second entry nursing at York
only next year (yes I am going through the strike).
Since applications open in November, I thought it would be best to get this forum started. I am hoping to get more insight into the program and I hope current and past nursing students would share their views on the program and how job searching went. Also, what nursing specialties do most York nursing graduates enter as I am hoping to get into public health. Furthermore, share your insights on Humber, McMaster, U of T, Trent, Queens, Western, Ottawa and Nippissing. (I think that is all) and don't forget to include your acceptance GPAs.
I received a conditional offer to York 2 weeks ago and their condition is to have a B+ average in the last year. York's grading scale B+ is 75-79 while a B at the school I go to now counts as 73-76. Would that mean a B at my school is equivalent to a B+ at york? (At my school a B+ is 77-79)
Would anyone here know anything about this?
Thanks!

I got the email at 11:30 this morning!! I have a masters so I’m not sure if they used that average... If they did,I had a 9.1/10 so I’m not sure what that translates into a 4.0 or 4.3 scale ? I volunteered at the Ottawa Distress Centre for over 3 years, volunteer currently for an eating disorders organization, did my placement at the Royal Mental Health Centre in Ottawa during my masters, worked at a community health centre, was a teaching assistant too... I was pretty shocked to be quite honest!! I hope you all get acceptances to the schools you’re hoping to go to you all deserve it so much ?

has anybody gotten accepted into UofT with a fairly low GPA up until fourth year of undergrad but explained their situation in the supplementary form?
