Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2018

Published

I'm applying to the second entry nursing program in February 2018 for Fall 2018 admission. I'm applying to York, Humber, Trent, Nipissing and potentially Western. I'll be applying with a BA in psych. This is probably super premature, but I wanted some reassurance from fellow applicants. I also wanted to know if anyone, past or previous applicants, know the weighting of Additional Information forms and how they're considered during the application process? I was diagnosed with ADHD during my second year of university, after being misdiagnosed two previous times, and it's certainly had an impact on my grades. My GPA is going to be something like 6.7 on a 9.0 scale. And this really has me worried. Has anyone else had any experiences with Add. Forms?

Good luck to all!

I was waitlisted at Western as well. Maybe in the next few days you could call in and ask were you stand on the waitlist.

Just received offer of admission to Western Compressed, but I wont be accepting it. Good luck to those waitlisted and everyone still waiting on offers!

Yeah, I applied last year too.

Yes and if you contact them they'll send you the same answer over and over. No one said here that they got waitlisted by UofT so I don't think they have waiting list. They receive tons of good applications every year so that would be enough for existing space.

I got accepted to Western but will be declining as well. Keep checking your western student accounts.

Has anyone made a facebook account for the Western Compressed Timeframe for class of 2020?

Hi everyone!

I just got accepted to Western earlier today. I already paid my nonrefundable deposit to UofT (That acceptance came too late!!) So it looks like my decision has already been made. But I hope one of you gets that Western spot!

Best of luck!!!! :)

HEY!!!! Everyone in UofT Nursing, we should become friends and drop our instagram handles to follow each other :)

Does anyone know how many students will get accepted to UofT nursing?

Usually they accept 175-176 students. For my cohort it was 176. Hope this helps!

This sucks, western hasn't got my marks yet, I'm pretty much screwed since I'm probably so far down the list :(

Did Brock not doing anything for you?? Go yell at them! and don't worry just yet I imagine a lot of people have already accepted other schools by now and will be declining, also when they get your grades if your average improves I think you would move up the list! Keep your head up!

You're so sweet, thank you!

Funny enough my friend from Brock that took the same classes as me had her marks sent, so they just hate me I guess haha

Thanks again though, I'm calling western and then Brock tomorrow to see what's up
