Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2018

World Canada CA Programs

I'm applying to the second entry nursing program in February 2018 for Fall 2018 admission. I'm applying to York, Humber, Trent, Nipissing and potentially Western. I'll be applying with a BA in psych. This is probably super premature, but I wanted some reassurance from fellow applicants. I also wanted to know if anyone, past or previous applicants, know the weighting of Additional Information forms and how they're considered during the application process? I was diagnosed with ADHD during my second year of university, after being misdiagnosed two previous times, and it's certainly had an impact on my grades. My GPA is going to be something like 6.7 on a 9.0 scale. And this really has me worried. Has anyone else had any experiences with Add. Forms?

Good luck to all!

I've been following this board for quite a while now- I got accepted into UofT today! Congrats to everyone :)

congratulations! Did they send out an email? or is it only on joinid?

Congratulations! Would you mind telling us your gpa for the last 5 credits and extracurriculars ? :)

Got accepted to Queens today but I will be declining the offer for McMaster....still waiting on Western!

Been following this page for a while.. got accepeted into McMaster yesterday!

Got accepted to UofT a few hours ago!! My GPA for my last 5 courses is a 3.52. Extracurricular: volunteered at 2 hospital for 3 years and did peer mentoring at my university. :)

Hey guys! for those accepted to uoft with a conditional offer and are internal applicants, I know its a required to send in our final transcripts. Are we required to submit it ourselves, or since we are internal, will the university just request it on our behalf? Thanks!

Hey guys! I've been checking this forum frantically for the past month and finally got my offer of admission from UofT yesterday afternoon. I had a 3.81 GPA in my last 10 credits but I only have a cGPA of 3.14 so there's hope!! I did my undergrad in physiology at McGill. For extracurriculars, I volunteered at a hospital for 2 years, worked as a patient transfer attendant last summer, and coordinated McGill's online sexual health resources.

If you're in internal applicant, UofT will arrange the transcripts themselves since they have access to your academic records! (I am an internal applicant as well)

Hi! I read earlier about there being a class of 2020 page for UofT Nursing... But I completely lost it! Could someone tell me the name of the page? Thanks so much!

Anyone have an idea of what the class size is like for UofT?

To those accepted to U of T, did your application status change to "Under review" or something other than "Application Received" ?
