I'm applying to the second entry nursing program in February 2018 for Fall 2018 admission. I'm applying to York, Humber, Trent, Nipissing and potentially Western. I'll be applying with a BA in psych. This is probably super premature, but I wanted some reassurance from fellow applicants. I also wanted to know if anyone, past or previous applicants, know the weighting of Additional Information forms and how they're considered during the application process? I was diagnosed with ADHD during my second year of university, after being misdiagnosed two previous times, and it's certainly had an impact on my grades. My GPA is going to be something like 6.7 on a 9.0 scale. And this really has me worried. Has anyone else had any experiences with Add. Forms?
Good luck to all!
At the UofT nursing seminar they mentioned that they accept between 175-180 in a given year max. Does anyone know how many people applied this year to UofT? I know they have said that they recieve about 900 applications but I'm curious if anyone has emailed or heard an exact number for this season?
Did anyone notice on Solus (Queen's), they added a final transcript request on the To-do list? Does this mean I am put on a wait-list?
Nope! If you view your offer of admission it will stipulate you must hold a 2.7 upon finishing the year (70%) so you just need to show them that you basically didn't give up after being accepted.
Congrats on your acceptance, I'll see you next year!
Someone should make a queens AST class of 2020 group on Facebook

I didn't get any offer or anything yet which is why I was a bit surprised seeing they are asking for my final transcript But thank you for your best wishes!!

I believe they will start giving out admissions starting April :) Atleast that's what I have noticed from last year's forum
