I'm applying to the second entry nursing program in February 2018 for Fall 2018 admission. I'm applying to York, Humber, Trent, Nipissing and potentially Western. I'll be applying with a BA in psych. This is probably super premature, but I wanted some reassurance from fellow applicants. I also wanted to know if anyone, past or previous applicants, know the weighting of Additional Information forms and how they're considered during the application process? I was diagnosed with ADHD during my second year of university, after being misdiagnosed two previous times, and it's certainly had an impact on my grades. My GPA is going to be something like 6.7 on a 9.0 scale. And this really has me worried. Has anyone else had any experiences with Add. Forms?
Good luck to all!
Thanks for letting me know. What does that convert to in %? Do you think you did well on your Casper?
I'm not quite sure about the percentage but I think between 80-84%? And I honestly have no idea how I did on the Casper, it was my first time every writing it and I didn't really prepare much for it. I wish they had given us the results so that I knew how I did. Does trent weight a lot for the Casper? I tried to answer the questions as best as I could, but I know there were questions that I didn't have enough time to complete or enough time to think of an appropriate answer, so I did feel like I struggled somewhat. How did you feel about the Casper?

I know they take all applicants Casper scores and order them highest to lowest. Using that ranking with the grades of the applicants, they decide who they send offers to. So Casper is important, and a low casper score could mean no acceptance even if you grades are good.
Wow good for you :)!!
Thats exactly how I felt about the Casper. I tried to prepare as best as I could.. I had some answers that I felt were good, and others where I didnt even have enough time to come up with an answer. You must of had a good score though!!! :)
This gives me hope!
Where did you do your undergrad?
Thanks!! Is trent your top choice?Nice! I did my undergrad at Trent so it would actually be nice to go back since im familar with the school / area.
No Trent isn't my top choice.. I went to UofT and live close to it so I would prefer to not move. That's so cool that you went to trent, totally understand the idea of staying close to home! I hope you get into Trent!! :)
