I'm applying to the second entry nursing program in February 2018 for Fall 2018 admission. I'm applying to York, Humber, Trent, Nipissing and potentially Western. I'll be applying with a BA in psych. This is probably super premature, but I wanted some reassurance from fellow applicants. I also wanted to know if anyone, past or previous applicants, know the weighting of Additional Information forms and how they're considered during the application process? I was diagnosed with ADHD during my second year of university, after being misdiagnosed two previous times, and it's certainly had an impact on my grades. My GPA is going to be something like 6.7 on a 9.0 scale. And this really has me worried. Has anyone else had any experiences with Add. Forms?
Good luck to all!
GUYS DO YOU KNOW IF IT IS OKAY TO TAKE A REDUCED COURSE LOAD OF 4 COURSES I A SEMESTER FOR JUST 1 SEMESTER WHEN applying to any of the 2nd entry schools? Is a full course load a mandatory requirement, anyone who has info on this please let me know!
You just have to have at least 10-full credit courses completed.
Hi friends
So on my joinuoft application status page it shows that certain transcripts have been received and then has other spaces for official transcripts.. I am in the last semester of my degree so do not have an official transcript yet. Does anyone know if they still begin to review the application before these are received? I have submitted all of my interim transcripts successfully. Thanks in advance and good luck to everyone!
Waiting is the WORST. I have a 3.3 GPA- 79%, was so close to a 3.7 (sigh), and was wondering if anyone has been accepted yet with similar grades?
Sameee. Sucks that this isn't much higher than the cut off but I've heard stories of people getting in to Uoft so there's hope if you applied there!

I actually applied to a whole bunch of schools cause I was nervous I wouldn't get in anywhere. I applied to UofT, Trent, Western (multiple programs), Queens, and Humber/UNB. I would really prefer doing a 2-3 year program vs a 4 year program.
Hey guys,
First year biomedical student at york here! super interested in this program. I wanted to ask if anyone could reccomend specific prereq courses for me to take and what to avoid in terms of courses and profs. Anything will do! Hopefully someone can get back to me and any advice is deeply appreciated.
What if on OUAC you said that Transcripts be sent by the end of Winter Term 2018 so around April...with they mark you late?
I put in a request for the end of fall and winter term! Not sure if you are still doing any pre reqs too but they'd be able to see if you are enrolled in them on the transcript.
I dont think they would consider the end of winter transcript to be late, other people have been saying they could offer conditional offers until the final transcript is received.
