I found this on YouTube; hopefully I can link it here so you can all see it. I'm not Candian, but I think the message speaks to everyone.

What about the elderly patients/residents who are pretty much waiting to die? I work at an ALF and it breaks my heart every time a patient expressing that fact that they are tiring of liveing and want to "die already" ....one lady told me, "I'm tired, this hurts, that's hurts, it's just not worth it anymore
WOW! That was mighty powerful and it made me sad too. If I knew how to make one of those videos, I'd use the exact same song only set the pace to Long Term Care showing the old folk lying in bed with no one to check on them for hours, the med nurse in and out quickly so she can get to the next 30 residents, residents sitting in their w/c's all day with people passing by not even bothering to say "hello" or "have a nice day" when they leave, a pt having a nightmare and no one going in the room to comfort him and the list is endless. Yes it's sad, it's very sad and it's hard to make a difference when there's not enough staff to make that difference.
needed something to make me smile, I though this was cute
this dude, knocked off my rosy colored glasses, threw them on the floor, and stomped on them... I don't care what he says, I still would love to experience working in the ER, even if it is only one day......this dude had me dying, but he may offend some folks, beware
I liked this one and felt it was real. If you want a good career chose nursing, if you want respect don't.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uvyy-BfR58&mode=related&search=

Is there anyway to look up the entire documentary on this? Would love to see the whole thing.

Possibly John Prine's touching yet, optimisticly sad, "Hello in there" could be the song too.

I am not sure but was thinking the same thing. Maybe contact the station advertised at the beginning or the production company or producer somehow?
If you do find out, can you let me know please?
