I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.
To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.
How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together
Hey I’m just wondering if there are people still waiting for their Mac acceptance? I’m getting pretty anxious as it is my first choice.
I’m still waiting on acceptances in general too. I’ve been waitlisted at Nipissing, Humber & Queens. Hoping to hear back from Trent, Mac or Western soon. I really want to get in at either Trent or get off the waitlist at Queens tho - time will tell but it sucks seeing everyone else get accepted everywhere ?

Has anyone gotten into Western yet? I'm just wondering because they updated my status a while ago to upload my final grades but I haven't been able to do so since I'm still waiting to get them back.

Hey!! I know someone reached out about a month ago and they said all decisions would be made by the end of this month, May (regardless of if you sent final transcripts early or not). I also had to reach out regarding a issue with my transcripts and they confirmed this as well.
Not the most ideal to be kept waiting but hopefully it gives you some peace of mind!
I've been accepted at Queens - does anyone know of a facebook group for the Queens program? Also, is there any type of admission deposit? I've read some other schools have them can't find info for Queens. Thanks in advance!
quick question regarding conditional offers. I kinda screwed over my final grade for one my pre preqs but I am still at the minimum cgpa of the conditional offer from queens. Will this affect my overall offer from queens and should I be stressing?

Not sure about Queen’s but the conditional offers I’ve gotten give you a minimum grade that you need to get in prereqs and then a minimum grade overall. If you don’t meet them (e,g. C in a prereq but offer said you needed a B- or higher) that would invalidate your offer. If Queen’s doesn’t have a min. grade for prereqs and you meet the overall GPA then you’re fine
