I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.
To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.
How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together
for those who already got accepted at uoft, did you submit your app early? (not sure if that impacts when offers are given- does anyone have any idea?)

I got in today. External applicant from Queens and still finishing my last PHGY pre-req.

Hey, just to give you an idea I got in today and submitted my supplementary application on February 7th

I got accepted today and I submitted my app on the day of the deadline!
I was admitted to UofT today and was wondering if any current students had more insight on the program. Bonus if you are a commuter and could tell me about general hours/feasibility.

My GPA was a 3.84 on a 4.0 scale. As for EC’s, I was a volunteer note taker during my undergrad, I was an executive member of a student-run club, did a volunteer internship, and volunteered at a hospital!
Don’t lose hope because this was only the first round of acceptances! You still have lots of Friday’s left until June 30th. Best of luck!!
