I just wanted to make a post as we enter the new academic year, and more importantly the next admission cycle. Hopefully through this post we can all share our admission experiences, concerns, and achievements.
To begin with, I am currently a University of Toronto student completing my final year! I am hoping to apply to UBC, UofT, Nipissing, Western, and Trent. Just waiting on applications to open up! I am slightly worried I may not get in because admission is so competitive, and seeing those with 3.9+ not get in can be very scary.
How about you? Are you excited for the new school year? Any concerns for the admission process? Let's get through this together
I just wrote what my roles were in the community and then a small blurb about what it was! I did this for 3 different examples and it came out to about 500 words. I didn’t want to make it too long or do point form. But for past employment I did point form what my job was and how long I worked there
I pretty much did the same! For the past employment I don’t think they want any more info since that’s all they asked for.

Agreed! I personally didn't worry about the employment section, since I pretty much just included role, time length, and company (like requested). Thank you for confirming as well!
Hey everyone, I submitted my application a few days for the programs and I had a question for York second entry nursing. On their website it says to upload your transcript in their portal thing but I already requested to send the transcripts to all unis through OUAC. Do I have to reupload my transcripts from my uni and highschool?
Did anyone apply to McMaster? If so could you please let me know what they mean by "supplementary application" needed, does that just mean the prerequisite form that we have to submit before Feb 1?

I think they wanted the unofficial since they gave instructions after on how to upload the official on ouac
I had a question about those that applied to uoft, how did you calculate your GPA if you are still currently finishing your undergrad? Would you put your fall semester GPA? and would it be for 5 credits? Because I only took 3 classes in my fall semester which are all half credits.

Its 5 FCE. So if you have half credits you use your last 10 courses. If these courses go into another semester you use your average from the whole semester. So the whole average of however many semesters it takes you to get to 10 courses or 5 full course equivalents

Hey,
So I think you should be fine because most people will request their transcripts through OUAC. If you log into myfile, you can check the documentation section which allows you to see the status of your transcript. When I first applied, it said to upload transcript, however, I checked again today and it says "received". You can also check your transcript status on OUAC.
Also, all requested transcripts through OUAC will also be official
