Im assuming no because you have to declare your average as part of the supplementary application thats due February 1st. They may recalculate because a lot of people are sent conditional offers and they have to maintain a certain average with their final marks. This isn’t certain though.

That makes sense, thank you! If they end up replying, I will let everyone know what they say.

Dang it feels weird to come back to this thread. Year 2 nursing student at UofT here. Don't let your GPA discourage you - UofT is truly holistic in its process. If you are unsure about your GPA, go all-in with your personal statement. Good luck!

Hey can you please email me at [email protected] im planning on applying to uoft and would love if you can answer some questions about the personal statement thank you!!

Thanks! I emailed them mid December to approve my anatomy courses that were not on their list and they still haven’t responded

Hi everyone!

For uoft, when we submit our final transcript in May, are these marks used towards admission since we’re told about our status end of June? Someone on here said it doesn’t, but the website said they’ll recalculate our final average with these marks so I'm confused. I tried emailing them but they haven't replied. Can anyone confirm?

Hey! No they're not! That was confirmed to me in an email I got from them - it's just including the marks you submit at the time of application. ?

Edit: That being said, I think if you're on a waitlist they may look at them. And they would definitely use prerequisite courses taken from that semester to fulfill requirements, but other than that they're not used for grade calculation.

Hey guys!

Does anyone know if ouac automatically sends highschool transcripts to schools that require them? I need to send mine to trent to cover the english prereq, but now that ouac has them I have no idea how to send them where they need to go

You send them to ouac and then ouac will send them to the university! As long as ouac receives them through your 105 application youre good

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all doing well. I am new to this platform and heard about this through my university guidance counsellor. I had applied to UFTs nursing program and am honestly very stuck with regards to the second required question and all the other optional questions (as they don't have a word limit or specified format). The personal statement was on the other hand straightforward (despite the stressful 400 word limit). I would appreciate it if anyone could provide some general advice on how to approach this, as I personally don't think writing it as a CV/Resume would serve any purpose (since it won't provide context or why you did something). If anyone disagrees with this, please let me know. I'm open to any suggestions. Thank you all again and all the best to everyone this cycle! :) Take care.

hey everyone!

I am definitely super relieved to see that im not the only one thats anxious about applying! I don't know much about the cutoffs for the program but I think by the end of this Winter term I should be at a 3.4-3.5 but I still don't know if this is good enough! does anyone here know the cutoff for mac and queens?

I just wrote what my roles were in the community and then a small blurb about what it was! I did this for 3 different examples and it came out to about 500 words. I didn’t want to make it too long or do point form. But for past employment I did point form what my job was and how long I worked there
