Online Physical Assessment and Nursing Research classes

I need to take a Physical Assessment and a Nursing Research class before applying to Frontier and Ball State(maybe others) for FNP. Can anyone recommend some online options?

-Frontier has an online assessment course for around $1500.

-Excelsior has NUR-442 Health Assessment and Promotion in Nursing Practice. Not sure this one meets the criteria.

-And a nursing Research class/test for credit option - NUR-430 Research in Nursing/NUR-430X.

Waiting to hear which schools accept what. Any other ideas or experiences?

Call the admissions office at Frontier. They can give you information on what classes will meet their criteria. Or take their class - kind of expensive but at least you know it will meet their standards. good luck!!

I called Frontier this week and they said the Health Assessment course was $1915. I read in another post somewhere that a person was having to write something to prove to Frontier what the health assessment course she took was acceptable to Frontier and that Frontier had also contacted the other school as well. When I read that it did concern me about how interchangeable courses would be. Good luck.

What did you end up finding out about the class? I am interested in applying at Ball State or Frontier University as well.
