online paid surveys

Published

Good Morning,

Does anyone know of any web sites that pay nurses for online surveys? I know that e-pocrates will sometimes have them, but I don't know of any others.

Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't found any online paid survey sites. I found a bunch of sites that claim you can get paid for taking surveys but they charge you to join. Doesn't seem worth it. Might be a scam.

I don 't know of any websites. But, the family that I nannied for at the beginning of summer, that is what they did. She worked for a company in New York, who made surveys for nurses and doctors. She said you can get up to $300/ survey. She said they get their clients by "buying" their information.

Good luck!!

Hey, do you have any info on that?

Medical market survey sites are most interested in the biggest markets. They are especially interested in nurses who purchase or prescribe the most products. A nurse administrator, a nurse practitioner, or a nurse who runs a physician office will be especially in demand. But these sites can have something for everyone. Some sites, such as Nielsen health specialize in surveying patients with chronic conditions. For example people with heartburn or allergies are a big market, and there are companies who want to survey these patients to fine tune their sales pitches.

At this time of year we can all use a few extra dollars to buy gifts. It would be really nice if we could share this information with each other. Happy holidays, and good luck in your surveys. :redbeathe

I agree completely. They want nurses in specialties(GI, IV infusion, oncology and cardiology are popular) and they want nurses who have some influence in how pharmaceutical and medical devices are used in practice. I've made almost $1000 this year alone doing online and telephone surveys as well as one 3 hour focus group that paid $350 plus a full dinner. That was not a bad use of my time. From the list you sent, I've surveyed with Schlesinger, TNS and Online Global. Occasionally I've received email requests for specialties for which I was not qualified and it disappointed me to pass those by as I didn't even know anyone to forward them to. Once you get in their databases, they will find you but of course that's the hard part isn't it? Good luck.

Over the past week, I've received invitations to do two online surveys and one 2 hour focus group for a total of $575. Unfortunately I didn't qualify for any of them! I just wanted to reiterate that this is a legitimate source of extra money for those who want to do it. In addition to the ones I mentioned above, look into Ricca Group. I hate to see people missing an opportunity to make a little bit extra especially in these economic times.

As far as surveys go I haven't seen any that are openly advertised for nurses,

Here are some that I subscribe to: (in the sign up process it asks you a lot of personalized information (including your profession/education)

http://www.zoompanel.com

http://www.e-rewards.net (offers the most medical related surveys)

Hope this helps! :coollook:
