UNLV SON FALL 2018 - page 8

[QUOTE=bsnoptimist;9836213]Thank God, I got an A in Micro too!! I'm around 95 points right now, but I'm going to retake the HESI to see if I can increase my score to around 96 or 97. You know, try to get on your guy's level, haha!

GOOD LUCK! From what I've heard, no one has scored higher on their second HESI attempt. It's scary and hopefully this can motivate you to study harder!

Same here! I'm at 94.38. But there are 48 spots, so here's hoping to the 98'ers save some room for us!

Dead. I literally laughed out loud, haha!! You will be totally fine, FutureCRNA1224. I think if you're anywhere in the 98s, you have nothing to be worried about.

But I am curious, how many people with 98s (excluding the 2 on here) have you heard are applying, Aprilie22? And congrats on getting an A!

About another three. I know its not much in the long run but there are many competitive candidates.

Has anyone ever spoken to advising about why Fall 2017 was so high and why exactly is it a one-off? Was it something in particular that happened that year or is the pool just getting more competitive?

Hi everyone! I will be applying with 95.7 for Fall 2018. I'm super nervous about the cut off because this will be my last attempt to apply. I have my signing session on June 15th

Someone on another cohort thread was saying that one of the advisors told her that it was a "fluke" and that they had the Fall 2017 cohort under investigation lol. So they implied that there was some possible cheating on the HESI. BUT, it is important to note that I have talked to some students in the Fall 2017 cohort and someone else who was on the other cohort thread has denied all accusations. So I guess we will never know, until it really does come to light if wrong was done. This will kind of be difficult though because I think the FALL 2017 cohort graduates this coming Fall semester. It's just important to make sure that we are doing the best we can and let truth prevail in our cohort

Hi all! I'll be applying with 94.4 points. I'm BARELY above Fall 2017's cutoff score, so I am definitely nervous. I really hope the cutoff this time is the same or even lower!

Hey, everyone! I have a question about the application for the BSN signing. Does anyone know what they want us to put for the Pre-Nursing catalog entrance year? Is that when we technically became pre-nursing majors or what exactly. Thank you!

I put the year that I came in (2016-2017). So yeah, technically when you became a pre-nursing major.
