I am interested in applying to the nurse corps scholarship 2017 2018 in order to pay for my accelerated program of sixteen months. I have a bachelors in sociology. I have done quiet a few researches. The application cycle will be open this month but I don't know which exact date. I have read discussion threads of previous years and have found really helpful information. I want to create a platform where interested applicants can ask questions, share information, discuss and help each other.
I have a question. So I am a Finalist. I received my notification email 8/11. I submitted my document 8/24. I resubmitted my documents 8/30. I checked the link that says view your signed contract and it is not signed. Did we have to sign that document because I did not see anywhere to upload that document after signing? So, I did not sign that actual document, I just signed electronically.
Got a credit check on 7/24 but no confirmation email about actaully getting the Nurse Corps Scholarship. Trying to keep my hopes up but it is becoming increasingly hard
So back around Aug 11th I recieved an email as a finalist for consideration and I have been waiting it out every since after uploading my verification forms.
As of tonight I logged onto the portal and noticed I had "Your NURSE Corps Scholarship Program signed contract" with my electronic signature on the bottom as of Aug 17th and a approvers signature as of September 14th.
I still havent recieved an email and I'm not completely sure what this means. On the contract there are still a lot of places for signatures and I not sure if I'm supposed to sign it although there is no further place to upload.
I am currently in the same situation. I noticed that on my contract I had an electronic signature from the approver on September 14th, but I still have not receive the official participant email. Hopefully we receive the email this week! I am praying we do!
If they sign the contract, does that mean you officially got the scholarship? My status hasn't changed, but I read somthing on this forum about checking to see they signed it. They just did yesterday.
I just received an email from HRSA for new Awardee Conference calls, but I still have not received the official email saying I am a participant. I checked my status online today and it still says In Final Review. My contract is signed. Will I get the official participant email? I am so confused. I am not sure if I officially received the award or not.
Right there with you! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm considering calling for clarification if I don't get a confirmation email within the next 24 hours.
