Mount Saint Mary's Fall 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello! I'm applying to Mount Saint Mary's Fall 2018 cohort and was wondering if anyone else is applying or has applied and has any tips??

Hello beenrango, I am also hoping to apply for fall to MSMU.

I'm applying for the ADN pre-nursing program for fall 2018.

Hey everyone,

Im a second semester nursing student at the Mount. If you haven't started studying for the teas test, I would say start practicing and reviewing your anatomy/physio and math. Also, review a little bit on english comp and reading. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer anything.

Hello JoCl89, I had a quick question to ask. See I am interested in applying to the Mount but I am a little concern in regards to whether or not I can afford it. Since it is I believe around 20k a year for an associates degree. Was that a concern that you had when deciding to attend there? And how are you managing to afford it? Any information would help, thanks in advance :)

Hey, It wasn't that much of a worry for me. Prior to applying for nursing schools, I met a person who was willing to pay it forward by paying for my tuition to whatever university of my choice. A lot of my friends in the program applied for financial aid and loans through the school though. There are also scholarships available like two times a year that the nursing department notifies us about.

Hello! So I'm applying to the ABSN program and didn't see anything on the application instructions about taking the TEAS test?

The ABSN does Kaplan as the entry exam.

Hello everyone, I applied for the BSN program.

Hi I've applied for the ADN program at the Mount. I already did a year at another community college but didn't finish so I would be transfer student, and I'm a male, but I have 3.00 and 3.2 average in pre reqs and sciences respectfully so hopefully I get in for Fall 18.

Hi,

I also applied for the fall 2018 cohort. I'm a little nervous for the TEAS. Thank you, JoCl89 for your help! any tips on the TEAS? what areas to focus on more??
