Hey everyone,
Im a second semester nursing student at the Mount. If you haven't started studying for the teas test, I would say start practicing and reviewing your anatomy/physio and math. Also, review a little bit on english comp and reading. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer anything.
Hello JoCl89, I had a quick question to ask. See I am interested in applying to the Mount but I am a little concern in regards to whether or not I can afford it. Since it is I believe around 20k a year for an associates degree. Was that a concern that you had when deciding to attend there? And how are you managing to afford it? Any information would help, thanks in advance :)
Hey, It wasn't that much of a worry for me. Prior to applying for nursing schools, I met a person who was willing to pay it forward by paying for my tuition to whatever university of my choice. A lot of my friends in the program applied for financial aid and loans through the school though. There are also scholarships available like two times a year that the nursing department notifies us about.
There's a thread specifically for ABSN Fall 2018 over here: https://allnurses.com/online-nursing-schools/mount-saint-marys-1148210.html :)
