Hello All!

I recently gained some information about Med Life institute. They are an LPN-RN school (with other nursing programs as well) located in Florida which offers an online/blended format way to earn your RN. After speaking to the representative she told me you come to FL for a week take some tests and exams to begin classes then do the rest online. The clinical portion is held in New Jersey at an affiliated hospital then at the end of the program you come back to take some more tests and exit exam. The total program runs about 9 months

I checked the Florida BON and saw that the school is legit and you can test for you NCLEX RN after passing the courses. This blended format is new however with the first class beginning in August of this year. I was wondering if:

A. Anyone has any experience with MedLife

B. Anyone in in the August blended class

C. Anyone is in the midst of applying to the January 18 class like myself?

Hi, yes I attend clinicals in Maryland once a week. It's going fine, I'm almost at the finish line. Started in August and I will officially be completed all my courses in March, even though I don't graduate until May. I was able to get completed some courses early and I have an A in every class and one B. So I'm just studying for my exit exam and NCLEX, but the workload is doable, not overwhelming at all. I'm able to still work like I want, no complaints.

Hi, so far so good. I will officially be completed all of my courses next month, just counting down the days:nurse:. It really went by fast. I have all A's and one B. All of my classmates are doing good as well. I'm just studying for my exit exam and NCLEX.

Hello everyone. I decided to join this site because I will be attending this school also. I am from NY and will be flying down for the program starting in March. Sent in my transcripts, applications fees, etc and they were able to transfer about 30 credits. Hopefully I should be able to finish earlier.

I attended Med life institute and I just completed the ASN program and I'm left with an education I can not use! I have $20,000 in student loans and I'm in the process of a battle with school. I have a lawyer, filed with the Florida department of independent education, the accreditation, and the US department of education office of inspector general. This school is a fraud theey take your money and your left with nothing. I advise people to not even consider this place.

Your absolutely correct!! I just graduated December 2017 and I'm left with an education I can't use anywhere. I'm in a battle with school as we speak. Everything on that website is BS. I was a a student there 2016-2107 and see I have been able to do my research in the midst of all this and I'm realizing how these schools tell students one thing and if you don't understand accreditation and the BON, and the commissioner of independent education here in Florida they will screw you. This school is making a killing taking people's money!!

Thank you for sharing this! As much as some of here try to steer folks away from these shady, disreputable 'schools' - sometimes it takes the real life experience of a victim to get through to them. *hugs
