MedLife Institute

Updated:   Published

Hello All!

I recently gained some information about Med Life institute. They are an LPN-RN school (with other nursing programs as well) located in Florida which offers an online/blended format way to earn your RN. After speaking to the representative she told me you come to FL for a week take some tests and exams to begin classes then do the rest online. The clinical portion is held in New Jersey at an affiliated hospital then at the end of the program you come back to take some more tests and exit exam. The total program runs about 9 months

I checked the Florida BON and saw that the school is legit and you can test for you NCLEX RN after passing the courses. This blended format is new however with the first class beginning in August of this year. I was wondering if:

A. Anyone has any experience with MedLife

B. Anyone in in the August blended class

C. Anyone is in the midst of applying to the January 18 class like myself?

Thanks In Advance to ALL responses.

I called medlife. I signed up for ichs which is accredited and approved but don't start until next month. Seeing all this talk about medlife and being done in 6months caught my interest even though they're not really accredited after completion I would have just went to wgu where they are accredited

Thanks I thought so . I told my cousin to check out international college of health science for there Lpn to Rn program too. I heard it’s a good program but expensive.

Yea the shortest and cheapest it can be is about 7 months and that's if you have all your prerequisites and pass the 4 subject test outs

I am a graduate of ichs. I think it is a good school, the RN program is solid. It can be tough with distance learning and traveling to FL to complete clinical requirements but it is an accelerated program, and it is worth it in the end!! All the best in your journey!

DreamNptobe which state are you located? How long did you finish your nursing through ICHS?

I reached out to Medlife by phone and email and from what I'm hearing, the LPN to RN program has been shut down, it no longer exits. So guys take note. Nay attempt by their agents to make you believe otherwise and collect those huge monies from you would be fraudulent. See below:

Good afternoon Mr._____

Med Life Institute does not offer online programs and no longer has the Associate of Science in Nursing program.

Thank you,

Yes I did finish the program at medlife institute in Fort Lauderdale they have since closed. You may try Palm Beach School of Nursing they have the same program.

The LPN to RN program at Medlife is shut down. Do not waste your time and money.
