Hello,am from maryland.is anyone planning on attending Med life institute in fort Lauderdale campus next year 2019?

I recognize that name -- there are some existing threads here about that "school." Have you taken a look at them? You can find them with the "search" tool in the upper right hand corner of each page here.

OP- PLEASE heed the advice of the good folks here and DO NOT enroll in this scam of a school! They have a few planted trolls here and there on AN- but those of us with absolutely no skin in the game would strongly discourage you from making this huge mistake. find a reputable school- even if you have to wait a while to enroll. A quality program produces a quality nurse.

I just signed up with Rene. Not sure if it’s Medlife or Siena I’m currently taking courses online when the CANVAS site goes live 10/11/19. I am looking through posts to see if this is legit and so far it seems legit giving the nurse that works at my job gave me the contact information because she got her RN license through the program.

Hi KandieApple you need to find out the information of what school will be issuing your dipolma at the end of your program that way you can check on the Florida website to make sure it is legit and to make sure that they are still approved for the rn program by the state or you will not be able to sit for boards. Even though your coworker attended the program it might not still be licensed by the state for the rn so you need to get concrete information before giving out tons of money do the research for yourself if the school is not on the board of nursing site word of advice don’t do it as you might come out with nothing in the end. Do your research.

I’ve checked on both schools and both allow you to sit for the NCLEX

Just FYI I don’t know about Siena but medlife itself is only on the board of nursing for Lpn only for being approved you may look yourself on the Florida nursing board approved site it will tell you all the schools in Florida and what programs they are approved for . Some programs are no longer approved and they were in the past don’t listen to the school they can say anything talk to the board itself.

you posted on another thread that you went to MEdLIfe and got your ASN took your boards in NY so how is it only an LPN program?

Hi KandieApple Yes at the time I went medlife was licensed for both Lpn and Rn Program and it was on the board of nursing site for both programs when I was enrolled. This is why I said you must check the board of nursing site to make sure that any program you are looking into is still approved for the Rn if you enroll in a program as long as they are approved at the time you enroll you will be fine even if they no longer take anymore incoming students you will still be able to board.There are many schools in Florida that was on the board of nursing that are no longer on the site or are only on the site for Lpn. There are many scams out here so you want to be careful and check everything out if you don’t see there name on the site from the board of nursing as an approved school don’t do it you can also call the board to make sure just in case the list is not up to date.

Hello let’s try again luck to you. Just make sure where ever you go make sure the school itself is on the board of nursing site and that it is on the site listed for what you are taking Lpn or Rn if the school is not listed on the site for what you are going for you may not sit the boards so just be careful .Sienna is on the board of nursing site as approved. There are so many scams these days. You May also try essential school of nursing they are on the board site I think it’s in Miami but they have a weekend program once a month you have to go there and I think the program is 6 to 9 months The price is around 15 depending on what you got so you may want to check it out.
