Hi all!

Thought I would start a thread for the fall semester! Anyone who wants to share their stats or anything about the application process can post them here! My stats as of now...

Pre-nursing GPA: 3.54

Science GPA: 3.67

HESI: 87.7

Pretty worried that my stats aren't good enough. Scored low on the A&P section of the HESI (80%) but made an A in the class...hoping maybe that will help even it out? I get discourage when I read through the other threads and see people get rejected with 4.0 GPA's and 90s on the HESI. I do have 80 volunteering hours at a children's hospital but I doubt that would help me enough.

I officially just got denied at 5:30 pm. My overall undergraduate GPA is a 3.9, my nursing prerequisite GPA is a 3.8 and my prerequisite science GPA is a 3.6.

My HESI overall was a 95 and I also have a Bachelor of Science in Health from Texas A&M. I'm honestly so shocked and in disbelief.

Congrats to everyone that got accepted!

I feel your pain, this is my second time getting denied and I have a 4.0 science GPA and 3.8 OVERALL nursing prerequisite GPA. I also got a 93 overall on the Hesi and have a Bachelors of Science in health professions from the University of Houston. It is complete **** on how they say it is a competitive and they take the top students.... The least they can do is let us know why we got denied...

Hey everyone! I just got my acceptance email from UTH for the BSN pacesetter program starting this fall! My overall GPA is a 3.6, my science/math GPA is a 3.75, and my HESI average was a 94 (96 in Anatomy and 98 in math... if i remember correctly.)

Just wondering... is anyone looking for a roommate for the fall? I need to find somewhere to live ASAP but a 1B/1B is way to expensive for my budget. If anyone is looking for a roommate, let me know. I'm pretty laid back as long as you clean up after yourself, respect my privacy, and be respectful when i need to study or whatever, which i'm sure won't be a problem cause you'll be studying too if you are on this thread lol. Hi, everyone! I'm Leah and I also got accepted for the Fall 2017 Pacesetter program. I live outside Houston, about an hour from the campus. I'm looking for 1-2 roommates in planning to get an apartment close to the campus. I'm really laid back and fun to be around, as long as you clean up after yourself and are not noisy, especially with the studying aspect. I have one girl who is interested. Hey guys! Just wanted to say I was officially denied by UT Health in Houston! Little late notice I know, I've just been working nonstop to pay for all my gear (scrubs, stethoscope, shoes etc.) I'm so excited for all that were accepted!! Y'all seriously rock!!!!!!! Be so proud of yourselves! I will be attending TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY: ST. DAVID'S SCHOOL OF NURSING!!!!! :) :) :) :) I'm currently a TXST student in San Marcos so I'm so excited to graduate as a bobcat! Now, just gotta find an apartment in Round Rock and make the big move! I'm so honored and humbled to have been chosen by my school. Anyone else on here going to TXST? What other schools did y'all get accepted to?

This is a copy of the email that was sent to me.... "We are pleased to inform you that a seat has become available in our BSN Pacesetter program for the Fall 2017 term. We ask that you reply to this email by 2:00pm today in order to accept this offer into the program so we may update your information in myUTH. Once your myUTH status is updated, you will have 10 calendar days to officially accept or decline the admission offer and pay the $200 seat deposit required to hold your space should you accept. You will be able to make the payment through the myUTH online portal. Once enrolled in courses, the deposit will apply toward your tuition. If you do not enroll, you will forfeit the deposit as it is non-refundable."
