Thought I would start a thread for the fall semester! Anyone who wants to share their stats or anything about the application process can post them here! My stats as of now...
Pre-nursing GPA: 3.54
Science GPA: 3.67
HESI: 87.7
Pretty worried that my stats aren't good enough. Scored low on the A&P section of the HESI (80%) but made an A in the class...hoping maybe that will help even it out? I get discourage when I read through the other threads and see people get rejected with 4.0 GPA's and 90s on the HESI. I do have 80 volunteering hours at a children's hospital but I doubt that would help me enough.
This is a copy of the email that was sent to me.... "We are pleased to inform you that a seat has become available in our BSN Pacesetter program for the Fall 2017 term. We ask that you reply to this email by 2:00pm today in order to accept this offer into the program so we may update your information in myUTH. Once your myUTH status is updated, you will have 10 calendar days to officially accept or decline the admission offer and pay the $200 seat deposit required to hold your space should you accept. You will be able to make the payment through the myUTH online portal. Once enrolled in courses, the deposit will apply toward your tuition. If you do not enroll, you will forfeit the deposit as it is non-refundable."

Hello everyone, I have been following this forum for sometime now and it has helped me tremendously. I too received an email in regards to an open seat for Fall 2017.However, I replied to the email at 4pm instead of 2pm. Would that cause any problem in my admission? I am so excited to start nursing school.

I would sure hope not. I don't see how they can expect everyone to accept in that short of a time frame. Some people have jobs where they may not be able to see their personal email during the day.
Thanks Brandon. The coordinator emailed me and updated my status so that I could accept my admission this fall. I am super nervous yet excited to start school. So many pre enrollment to do lists. Are there any waitlisted prospective students here? If so, have you guys been notified? Check your junk mail.

yes I'm still around lol I checked nothing for me yet !! Hopefully I'll get one sooner or later . I'm hoping
Never give up. God is good. I did not expect to get accepted on the first try. When I got waitlisted 2 weeks ago, I told myself that if I don't get accepted this term, I will try again. You should be proud of yourself for all your hard work. Have faith.
