EMORY ABSN+MSN 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

So I decided to start a thread for the Fall 2018. Any current/prospective student on here? What GPA did you have when you applied and how competitive is the selection process? If you don't mind sharing your work experience and GRE score, that will be awesome. For those who are enrolled, do you mind sharing your experience?

Hi! I would like to know your best recommendations are on where to live! Thank you.

Hello everyone! Long time lurker on these forums, finally decided to join in on the discussions. I was put on the waitlist for Emory ABSN+MSN back on the 15th of January. Dying to know where I'll end up but... good luck to everyone!

The best answer to this depends on if you plan on bringing a car with you. If you are, then you can swing living a little further away from campus, but still keep in mind the price of the parking pass for campus. The major neighborhoods closest to emory are north druid hills and virginia highland. Both are really nice places with tons of restaurants, good parks, nightlife and close enough to Atlanta to be considered the city but far enough away to be away from noise and light pollution. If you want to live close to the inner city, consider Old Fourth Ward or Grant Park for more affordable neighborhoods.

You applied early enough to have a good shot of getting in!

Does anyone know how much the entire program costs?

And I know it's 3 years but how many semester is that?

This information is on emory's website or you could call and get the information yourself.

They are closed now and it very hard to get in touch with them so can anybody else answer the question?

The cost of attendance is on Emory's website. All the information is clearly listed on there. There are 4 semesters of ABSN and 4 semesters of MSN. Look at the curriculum, see what the cost per unit is and multiply it by the number of total credits. You'll be fine. Just call them tomorrow.

Did anyone go to the acceptance day? How was it?

Has anyone on the waitlist been accepted yet?
