FNP Interview Invitations were just emailed! Did anyone apply but not get this email?

I think everyone that applied for FNP received an invite to do the video interview. That's just my guess. Now I wonder when decisions would be sent out after we complete the video interview since this video interview is supposed to replace the faculty interviews altogether.

I was wondering since some people who applied did not get the other emails that were sent prior to todays. Most likely the FNP/Psych will find out in February with everyone else.

I have received nothing since the day after I sent my application.

I'm really bummed. Is anyone else in this position?

Did people who registered for an interview receive a confirmation email after they submitted the form ? I did not receive anything confirming that they received the form.

So I have never used a one way online video interview thing. Does anyone known if there is a way for me to view the interview questions before starting the actual interview or is it a thing that once you click "Go to your interview," you have to answer and finish the interview right there and then at that moment?

I got an email on the 9th I think it depends on the specialty you applied for

I think I did a similar interview for Columbia. In the Columbia interview, you are given a question and you have something like 30 seconds to think about it before the recording automatically starts. You have X amount of time to respond... if you finish early, you can end the recording, otherwise it times out and cuts off. I wouldn't expect to be permitted breaks -- they're trying to simulate an in-person interview as much as possible.

Treat it like an in-person interview and you'll be fine.

Good luck!

Is anybody here applying to only the BSN second degree track at Upenn? If yes, have you heard from them after submitting your application and other required documents?

I'm in the same boat as you: only applied for BSN 2nd degree.

I have not received any further communication EXCEPT for the Nov. 2 email regarding admissions timeline.

Is this the same case for you?

Yes. It is the same case for me. I have not heard from them after the Nov. 2 email regarding admissions timeline.

Any insight on the FNP video interview? What was it like?

Any insight on the FNP video interview? What was it like?

I finished mine over the holiday weekend. You have to complete it in one sitting, but you are given unlimited time to prepare for each question.

Basic format:

-Given a question.

-Have unlimited time to think about (or reheorifice!) your answer.

-You can record answers up to two minutes in length.

-If you don't like your fist recording, you can do a second take. Two chances only.

-Six questions total.

Standard interview questions, so no surprises there.
