Hi,
I am currently looking into transferring to an online FNP schools. I had to recently move farther away from my brick and mortar university and the commute would be too much. Is anyone enrolled or a graduate of an online FNP school? I know these programs are newer within the past couple of years. I am scared to enroll because my State Board of Nursing in PA says that they would have to evaluate the coursework I complete the program and when the application is submitted to sit for the NP boards. Most online schools have a disclaimer stating that completion of the MSN coursework does not guarantee that individuals would be permitted to sit for licensure. The advisor also told me to call the PA state board of nursing to check. Any input would be appreciated.

Have you looked into Frontier Nursing University? Also, there is a whole forum here for online learning, you should check it out.

Walden University has an online FNP program and call tell you upfront if your state is covered or not. Florida isn't. Georgia is but I don't know about the other states.
