Online Bachelor's degree

Does anyone know of any good online colleges that I can go on for my bachelor's degree? I will be finishing my associates in May There are so many different colleges out there I'm confused about which one would be the best and has fair tuition  HELP!!!

Specializes in Nephrology, Cardiology, ER, ICU.

I did the University of Phoenix online BSN completion in 18 months and found it to be very satisfactory.

Specializes in Med-Surg, Trauma, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiac.

The best place for tuition is to look locally. RN to BSN programs are everywhere nowadays.

I choose Florida Hospital College because it's NLN approved and it's 100% online. It's much more expensive than a local program which didn't appeal to me, but it's cheaper than University of Phoenix. http://www.onlinenursing.fhchs.edu/

Good luck to you!

Tweety is right - I think many state/local schools now offer online upgrade programs. Mine does, but I'm all the way down here in Mississippi.. http://www.muw.edu/nursing/tupelo

Good luck! :)

I am through with one semester in their RN/BSN program, about to begin my second semester. The tuition is SO reasonable (cheaper than my in-state tuition was at the university I attended) & the instructors have been great! It is way less expensive than U of Phoenix. If you have any ??'s PM me.

Hey there,

I recently read something, I think on this site, where someone mentioned u of p being investigated. Do you know or anyone here know anything about this? Also, I've heard some places won't recognize an online degree, is this also true?

I'm getting my RN through a CC right now, but I feel like u of p sounds like such a great option for a bsn/msn...but I'm wondering if it's worth it if some places won't recognize it. Any insight?

Thanx,

Rebecca

I haven't heard about UofP being investigated. I found their BSN (and now MSN) programs to be fully accredited by the NLN and recognized (at least where I am in IL). Where did you hear about an investigation and what did it involve?
