Online Anatomy and Physiology with Lab

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I'm almost done with my prerequisites all I have left to take is two semesters of A&P with lab. The issue I have is I'm going out of the country for about eight months and I don't want to loose out on that time and end up having to wait any longer to finish A&P. Can anyone recommend a thorough straight forward online program that is good and accredited? I have no issue putting in a lot of hard work, I just prefer to avoid the professors that try to make A&P more difficult than it is already! Any and all help/ advice will be much appreciated. I don't care what state the school is in, just an FYI.

georgia military college and cayuga community college...GMC is all online, no proctors. CCC it depends on what teacher you select, but you can email them and ask if there are proctored test. My A&P at CCC was all online no proctors, however, I did have to order lab kits to perform at home experiments.

I didn't take A&P through here, but I took microbiology here A&P online with lab. It was a great course and I learned a lot. I actually took micro in a traditional school, but my credits were too old so had to retake it. I learned a lot more in the online class than I did in the traditional class. There classes were kind of pricey when you add in the lab stuff so that's something to keep in mind.

bartonline.org is great so far! 100% online and labs through adam education. Very in depth, you can work ahead if you want.

I'm doing my prerequisites at portage learning.

I second Portage. Geneva College transcript and GC is fully accredited. Self paced and 182 per credit hour.

Okay, so that's one instructor. Look to take it from another. I love RateMyProfessors.com. I find it to be pretty spot-on. I take into account the grammar and English of the posters- sometimes the "horrible, mean" teachers are because someone can't put together a cohesive sentence, and misspells every word, thus they get horrible grades. Meanwhile, the well thought out and well written reviews would be sparkling.

I had a fantastic teacher for both A&P, and she would provide "course notes," which she basically taught from, and every single exam question came from there. Even the stuff I missed on exams, I remembered seeing in there, or could find it there later.

Not every teacher is out to "get" you.

Not sure what the OP's full picture is but how much time and money should you waste trying to find the right professor? Some of us want a straight forward, direct path to our goals without being sidetracked by someone who sees their subject as their life's work. I had a professor like this for A & P. She was an MD and treated college freshmen like we were all going to medical school or something. Tangents about human cadavers etc... As long as your path is honest, accredited, and for me affordable, do it and ignore everyone who tries to judge/guilt you into doing things their way.

I took A&P II 100% online, no proctored tests or anything from Broome Community College in Binghamton NY. The lecture was mainly me reading written lectures and writing out TONS of notes from the chapter readings, and the lab was a virtual lab, I don't remember what it was called, but it was pretty cool. I would HIGHLY suggest it, even though it wasn't my first choice (it was actually my only choice due to time restraints and other life circumstances).

Hey,

I know I'm responding to an old post. But I was curious which local nursing schools were willing to accept credits from Portage.

Thanks so much!

I started an A&P class before and had to drop half way through the semester. So I speak from experience after having spoken to other students in various A&P classes.

happens to so many people!

Thank you! How did you find the exams to be?
