On avergage, how long are LPN to RN programs?

I always thought they were only 2 semesters long, but after looking at some curriculums, it looks like a lot of them (at least in VA) are 4 semesters.

@pookyp-I'm not going to sugarcoat this the bridge program is hard. This is coming from someone who was valedictorian of her LPN class. Be prepared to hit the ground running from day one and do not slack off on reading the chapters. If you do, you will fall behind quickly. The vast majority of us still work full-time. It is a juggling act, but doable. Yes, you have to be an LPN in order to be accepted into the program. I think they also want you to have paid experience of at least six months as a nurse. Yes, they do accept federal financial aid. Do you have your prereqs done? If so, you can probably get into the upcoming September or January classes. With prereqs done, the program is around $15k. Mine was 2.5 years but I also had a lot of credits transfer in.
