OMG!!! 75 Questions!?!?

Sooo...I just got back from my NCLEX, and now I don't know what to think. I got about 4 SATA, 4 calculations, maybe one infection control question, and about 6 medications. It was the most bizarre test I have ever taken. I felt like I narrowed down each question down to 2 answers. I went in with the mentality that I would get 265 questions, and when it stopped at 75...I almost flipped out!!

I never understood what people meant when they said they wanted the computer keep going, but now I totally know. I'm so freaked out because I just knew that I would get a bunch of SATA, and everytime a math questions popped up I freaked out. Please pray for me and now begins the 2 day wait...I will keep you all updated.

Oh yeah...all last night I was up with the worst stomach ache that I think is from eating Chinese food, so I got horrible sleep, and the only thing I could even keep on my stomach (due to diarrhea...I know TMI) was pepto bismal. That's just a side note though, just thought you guys should know that lol.

And...chime in if you've had a similar testing experience PLEASE :typing

I totally had the same experience as a matter of fact i took mine on Sat. had tons of meds like 10-15 SATA lots of prioritization and delegation, weird stuff! I passed man just wait it out dont doubt yourself because it makes the wait that much longer! ur in my thoughts! Peace

Tell me about it took mine today shut at 75. 10 sata and one repeated itself the second time it asked teaching is not successful if client states. a lot of math. stressed out right now cant wait to find out.

I just got back from NCLEX and ended up with 75 Q. It didn't seem really hard to me which worries me a lot. Anyway....

I'm seriously on pins and needles! I have one more day until I find out my fate, and I'm hoping for the best. I just have to stay confident. Thanks for everyone's encouraging words.

is it really bad if some of the questions seem easy? how do u tell if the questions were hard or easy? i mean what if u are well prepared for it?

I felt the same way you did pitbull!! I just got home from taking my NCLEX 2 hours ago. I had worked night shift 4 nights in a row and couldn't sleep last night. I got a whole 3 hours sleep before I had to drive 1 1/2 hours to my test. The calculations were horrible and I drew a complete blank on how to do them. I had 1 basic and 4 mcg or mcu/kg/min that they wanted mg or ml/hr. I know I got them all wrong. I just feel horrible!! Now I have to wait for 2 days. I wouldn't feel so bad if after 265 questions I failed but to fail at 75 will be quite a blow to me!!

hey pitbull... are you from manila? took my test yesterday got 75 qs...16 satas... 5meds... 2 calc... im also puzzled right now... wish that we'll all pass tom:)

It's been over 48 hours now, and I just want to know already!! Pearson is really playing with my head. I have my credit card ready, and I just want my unofficial results PLEASE!! How's everyone holding out? I took my exam in Charlotte, NC.

I actually went to school in Virginia at George Mason University, and I moved to NC to be with my fiancee. I have a job lined up, and it's contingent on me passing the NCLEX. I'm keeping confident, but my heart feels like it's going to jump out of my chest right now. I can't even get in the shower because I'm glued to the Pearson website lol. What school did you go to? Good luck in about a month!

AGHHHH I passed!!!! 49 hours!!!! YESSSSSSSSS!!!! This proves that you don't have to have a billion SATA to pass, and I even had math questions!!! I'm loving life right now!!! Now the real work begins
