I totally had the same experience as a matter of fact i took mine on Sat. had tons of meds like 10-15 SATA lots of prioritization and delegation, weird stuff! I passed man just wait it out dont doubt yourself because it makes the wait that much longer! ur in my thoughts! Peace

Hey there, I just took NCLEX on Sat got the same thing you did tons of pharm, delegation, and alot of SATA. I was so sure I failed my test shut off at 105 and I lost it! Long story short I passed, my only advice is that the wait sucks but hang in there! Goodluck!! Remember that the hardest part is over

Yeah they helped I took my timed and really thought through the decision tree, but on the meds I was on my own, i got alot of drugs ending in -lol and delegation of nurses from one floor to another! good luck tomorrow you'll do great tomorrow!

hey guys I just wanted to share my experience with you since your experiences helped me to cope over the long 48 hour wait for results! I took the NCLEX-RN on saturday and left there felling like crap I thought there was no way in H*** that I would pass. My exam contained alot of SATA around 30 meds, tons of priortization, and delegation, the weird thing about the exam is it didnt seem to get harder after doing Kaplan I was looking for the questions to slowly rise in difficulty but they stayed at an even pace which freaked me out. Waiting the 48 hours after the test was awful it totured me day and night. This morning I had to wait until 1 to get my results and in that time i had already contacted the BON to get info on rescheduling my test. Then at 1 I logged on and paid 7.95 to see the sweetest 4 letter word in my life PASS! Im telling you all there was not a speck of hope left in me after that exam and by reading others posts that talked about their expericence I was able to get by! Thank you all, I hope my little story provides some inspiration!

hey guys I took NCLEX RN yesterday morning it shut off at 105! Hey guys im taking my NCLEX on Saturday this Saturday! Anyway im in Utah so when will my results be available!

I really think that Kaplan is making me more nervous than anything! The content is difficult to apply and so of the topics are pretty far out there! Got a 61 on diagnostic and cant seem to make myself focus for the rest!

Hey guys getting ready to take the NCLEX soon just started doing the Kaplan online and now im scared! Is it just me or are the questions in Q bank difficult to apply the Kaplan rules for NCLEX? Plus there are tons of topics that I have no clue about! I scored a 61 on my diagnostic but now im scared!

Just another thing to think about is observing in the OR you have to wear the hospital scrubs and my hospital only has 2x and below! Im not sure what they do when they need a bigger size but it is definetly a good thing to ask your instructor about prior to getting to the OR! Good Luck All!

I've worn my scrubs to the bar and pretty much everywhere as a matter of fact I am very comfortable wearing them in public and havent had any complaints!!! They are my clothes I see plenty of people that wear their work uniforms out after work and they are definetly covered in something!!

Man i have the meddeck cards and i love being able to pull out the right data because I never know what I am copying down on those drugs cards! But the only problem with the cards is they dont always have all the drugs some drugs are compiled by group and therefore you dont have all the information you may need! Buy the book its your best bet sometimes they have used package deals on ebay or amazon!! Peace:studyowl:

man watch out you before you sign definetly check that hospital environment through and through! we are in clinicals at a hospital that is known for there large contracts and I can tell you its not pretty there is alot of agency work going on not a very good place to work! So all i can say is man check it out!!!

i wouldnt call it my worst experience but I had a very large woman probably 350+ post op abdominal surgery, also COPD'r and very angry! Anyway had to dc cath and straight cath her twice to check residual not cool at all the whole time she was clamping her legs shut kindof playing a game on top of that she had severe diarhhea had to be ambulated to besdie commode every 15 minutes! Not a good day I ended up changing my scrubs and crying in the bathroom!

Yeehaw! Congrats on the little one! your brave to be looking inot nursing school with a kid I give ya credit! Anyway I am in an associates program and in clinicals I have noticed that the majority do just fine with just a ADN plus you can always get some experience and then decide if ya want to go back for BSN or even higher!
