  1. I'm not going to name the specific states but Nursys and my home state are causing major problems with my endorsement all over the fact they never entered in my education information and the state I applied to only goes based off of nursys 100%! My home state said they can't fix it. I finally got the new state to offer some sort of solution and said to have my college send a letter or transcript. (Did both because I'm like that!). I'm just really nervous because everything is taking so long. My temporary expires mid October. Do you think this will resolve by then!? Help or try and make me feel better!?
  2. I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WITH 265 it can be done!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. this is a silly question, but i am waiting for my results and i think they will be in an hour. however, is it 48 hours after your appt time or the time u finished the test?? i also had 265. eeeek!
  4. ahh so i have about 5 hours to go till my results come in. I had 265 questions so i am freaking out quite a bit. However, trying to keep a positive attitude I did some fun things yesterday and trying to kill the last 5 hours I thought it would be fun to come up with things to do while waiting for results. Personally, I find waiting for results more agonizing and anxiety provoking than waiting to take the test!!! So... this is what I did right after the test: went to happy hour with my boyfriend and had a margarita went out to dinner yesterday: walked around the lake in my town (and cried a bit! ) went and got a massage (had a gift certificate that I saved for this very day after the test when i would need it most) and looked at two apartments (soo exciting) what are all your ideas!?

tonnsss of priority i felt like i was constantly answering those type of questions...maybe 4 math, 5 SATA and lots of infection
  6. I would like a prayer said for me as I will say one for everyone else too. Had 265 questions yesterday and am terrified.
  7. 265 questions yesterday. I woke up this morning feeling like someone beat me with a bat numerous times. I can't believe it. I feel so miserable and hopeless. I am crying as I write this because I put my heart and sole into studying for that stupid exam. I read Saunders cover to cover, did Kaplan classes, all the qbank and all the qtrainers with averages in the mid 50's to 60's. I was soooo positive before the exam, kept chugging along the whole test even though I was feeling like I failed. How did this happen?????? I can not go through any more studying both mentally and physically. I am so exhausted and drained. I can't believe I hafta wait till tomorrow for results.

  9. I too got 265 today, feeling not so great about it.
  10. I am so so nervous i could cry!! I have been doing Kaplan qbank and qtrainers getting low 60's- mid 60s and did ALL of saunders and finished that a few weeks ago and finished all of the kaplan content book last week. (yes i am crazy) Please tell me I am going to be ok!? not that you know cuz no one knows but i have two days left and i am so tired of studying, I dont have it in me anymore
  11. Thank you for that post. I feel even more confident now taking it now that i finished everything in Kaplan. I feel that it really prepared me more than I could have on my own and I hope I am just as lucky as u r on Tuesday!!
  12. yes I feel that way too. The strategies work to a degree- I just think the volume of HARD questions they give you to practice on is what boosts your confidence. not necessarily the strategies, although my kaplan instructor begs to differ!
  13. I test Tuesday, I have been trying to "listen without really listening" if that makes any sense. I hear all of that and say to myself "that is not me. I've done everything I could and what will be will be. This does not make me who I am or will be in the future as a nurse." Also, go do something fun everyday after studying- its been getting me through. Good luck! WE WILL DO THIS!
  14. anyone else?? im starting to freak out. In a way i am really confident i can handle this and am gonna succeed but i am hearing negativity from other former nursing students about who failed etc. I understand everyone is under a lot of stress but i like POSITIVITY. ok, done venting lol anyone else wanna join it?
  15. ahh let me know how u do!!!
