AFTER 4 YEARS OF FEAR, I TOOK THE NCLEX FOR THE SECOND TIME AND PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For all of you out there who think you can't do it or think it is too difficult to be done, IT CAN BE DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yeah:I graduated in December of 2004, took the test in February of 2005 and did not pass!!!!! OMG, I took the test on April 13th.....today is April 16th and I found out I passed!!!!! I am a Registered Nurse!!!!!!! I want to thank everybody for all the support and advise!!!!!!!! For those of you who are multiple test takers, please believe you can do it! Claim it before you walk in the testing center and take the test with confidence. Good luck to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!

I studied off and on for several months before I went on and took it again. I made flash cards and studied them at work when work was slow. I almost forgot; I downloaded and listened to lectures from something called the Feuer Files...I hope I spelled it right. It included hours of lectures on Med/Surg, Peds, Maternal health and Psych. Towards the end of my studying, I did lots of practice questions from several different books including NCLEX RN for Dummies, NCLEX RN Made Incredibly Simple and Kaplan. I hope that helps! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go and congrats. I graduated in 1993 but because of hubbys CVA and fathers cancer and CABG along with several other crises, never took it until now. Failed on first try with a rating of near passing standards so I am hoping I pass on May 18th. WTG. Proud and happy for you. Now just relax - you deserve it :tbsk::onbch:

I am in the same boat, I graduated in 2006, and worked but could never pass the exam

I feel ready now and have been pouring over the Saunders edition 4,

I am about half way through the book. But i feel more confident then I ever have.

I am happy for your success, and thanks for posting it really helps with the confidence.
