Hello Everyone! I was wondering if anyone out there will be attending Oklahoma City University in the fall 0f 2015 for the Accelerated BSN program? I'm in the middle of admissions and haven't found out if I got in yet but would like to know who is attending? I would be moving from San Diego, CA. It would be nice to get to know some of you. I'd like to know where all of you are from and how your admissions process went?

Pharmacology - Sara Manning and Pamela Tucker
Have any tips or suggestions?
For health assessment, focus on the lecture and powerpoints when you're studying.
Foundations- lecture AND the book are really important. Read and understand the text. Also, take notes in lab!
Pharmacology- try to do your med pages early for each section. Don't fall behind on those! And make sure you don't treat them like busy work. Right them in a way that helps you remember the drugs for tests. Take your time :)
Good luck!!!
Hi I know I'm just jumping in but how is the Accelerated BSN program going for u so far?? Do you think it is doable for a single parent?? How much is it for the program for commuters? I would call the school but it's winter break right now as I'm sure you know haha. I hope to hear back.
Thanks :snowman:
Hello,
I'm currently in my 2nd semester for the Accelerated BSN program and am really enjoying it. I think it is completely doable as long as you put in the effort and the studying hours. The price is the same for out of state residents as it is for in state. Let me know if you have any more questions, I'm happy to help!
@hopefulkim99 The Accelerated BSN is 4 semesters just as the traditional there just isn't a summer break. The scholarship information is at this link.
For example if you have a 3.3-3.59 cumulative GPA you would receive $5,500 from the Transfer University Scholarship and a $3,500 departmental award from the Kramer school of nursing for a total of a $9,000 scholarship per year or 4,500 per semester. Keep in mind I gave you a rough estimate I suspect the program is closer to 60,000 and that's not counting housing and other expenses this is just the rough estimate that was given to me by the University when I was accepted.
