It was the last day to do it, but I OFFICIALLY SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION TO OHSU!!!! ?
Anyone else applying for this cohort?
A little about me: I am an older, non-traditional student, single Mama with 8 and 13 year old boys! I currently hold a BA in Psych. I wanted to apply to the ABSN, however, my Statistics class is over 7 years old, and it was also a C. ? I will just have to retake it, if I end up needing to apply next year. This is also my very first application cycle. ?
I feel like OHSU is definitely my top choice, but I will also be applying to Linfield, and possibly Concordia (only because they have an accelerated program, and seem to offer more start dates.
Now the waiting begins!!!! ? ?

I felt good about them! Well, my first one definitely felt like a warmup and then all the ones after I felt really good about. But everyone seemed great so who knows. ? Everyone was so nice and well organized so really eased my nerves.
I am sure you will do great!
I looked up common nursing interview questions, typed up and then re handwrote some basic responses/stories basically. That is what I do before any interview and it helps me a lot. I did the typing a couple days after getting the invite, and then rewrote a few that I expected by hand to get it in to my brain better. In the end, I am glad I did it and overall they were all so friendly that it was way less scary than I hyped it up to be (although who knows how I will feel when I actually find out the decision). ?
Thanks. I've looked up interview questions and tried to formulate cohesive answers, but I also don't want to recite robotic predetermined answers. Who knows if that's better than the word jumble that might dribble out under nervous pressure though. I'd prefer one-on-one interviews, the group setting is unsettling.

Hello! I don’t know which campus you applied to but my Klamath Falls interviews were 4 separate interviews all one-on-one. And remember, they aren’t looking for the right answers. They want to make sure you’d be a good fit for the program. As everybody at the interviews is qualified for the position.

The waiting is awful!! I interviewed at Ashland yesterday and the waiting is the worst. Fingers crossed for us all! ?
