It was the last day to do it, but I OFFICIALLY SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION TO OHSU!!!! ?
Anyone else applying for this cohort?
A little about me: I am an older, non-traditional student, single Mama with 8 and 13 year old boys! I currently hold a BA in Psych. I wanted to apply to the ABSN, however, my Statistics class is over 7 years old, and it was also a C. ? I will just have to retake it, if I end up needing to apply next year. This is also my very first application cycle. ?
I feel like OHSU is definitely my top choice, but I will also be applying to Linfield, and possibly Concordia (only because they have an accelerated program, and seem to offer more start dates.
Has anyone from the Ashland campus gotten the email they said they would send about parking/other info yet? It said a week before which is today, but I guess I didn't think they would email over the weekend. Haha. Paranoid my rsvp didn't go through even though it said "thanks for your response."
I applied for the Monmouth campus and our parking pass was in the email with the time and date of my interview. If you don't hear back by mid week I would call.

OMG... same. I started getting paranoid that my RSVP didn't go through... or that I somehow selected decline. ?? I almost want to email and make sure it all went through okay... but don't want to come across as a spaz... ?

@BSNhopefulPdx Mind sharing why you chose Linfield over OHSU? I'm in the same boat and need advice.
Yuri, for me it was simply the time commitment. I’d rather be done and making money in 15 months vs 3 years (I didn’t get an interview for OHSU’s ABSN). Both schools are well respected with good pass rates, and I know graduates from both schools. Now that I’m getting to know Linfield better, I can see why they appreciate my undergrad background in liberal arts. I’m still awaiting my finaid award, but I hear they offer lots of scholarships.
So much to consider, and I didn’t do as much digging around the forums for insights to clinicals/schedule at OHSU. If I had been offered ABSN at both schools, I’d have a hard time deciding.
I had my interview for the Klamath Falls campus on Friday! It was nerve racking... Hoping to hear back from admissions around the 20th with the decision.
