OHSU - Monmouth Fall 2013 students

Hello there!

I learned several weeks ago I have been accepted into the OHSU Monmouth BSN program that will start this Fall (2013). I am hoping to find and meet others in the same program so we don't have to wait until orientation. :)

Oh wow!!! Glad to "meet" you! LOL! I live east of Salem. I have two children, work as a CNA at a local hospital and I am so excited about getting into the WOU OHSU program too!!! In fact, I am so excited I already purchased my hunter green scrubs we need for clinicals. LOL. I work as a CNA now, so I am sort of addicted to buying scrubs anyhow.

Where are you from? What do you do? Family?

Nice to *meet* you guys! I received my acceptance call on the 19th as well! I have chatted with a few other classmates on a couple different borders on here as well! Ill be living in south Salem or Albany by August.

I am from the Portland area born an raised! I'm finishing my B.S. in Sociology from Portland State right now so I am living up here until graduation. No family just my fiancé and I we are in our mid 20's (I've been working towards OHSU for the last six years!) He works in Salem for Marion County Fire District so that's why I choosed Monmouth!

Is anyone else from around here? I chatted with a few other people who sounded like they where coming from neighboring states!

I am also accepting a spot in the OHSU monmouth program. I am from Mt. Angel and i am currently working at the oregon state hospital as a mental health therapy technician. I cant wait to start the program.

@ZachU11 .... do you know someone who is a dental hygienist for a dentist in Stayton? I forget her name, but when I went in for my appointment recently, I told her I got in to the OHSU program and she said a friend of hers named Zach got in as well. LOL! If so, small world. :)

I am so excited, too!!! I thought it may be nice to get to know each other. I started a Facebook group for our class...send me your email address and I will send you an invite to the page. Might be an easier way to get to know each other!
