Hi, first post because I cannot find that much information about this!
Apps recently opened to OHSU's BSN program. I haven't decided if I want to apply to Ashland or Monmouth - I am currently in California (don't hate me Oregonians) but most of my family live close to those two campuses.
Anyone else start their application for OHSU yet?
Also - Any tips for essay question responses? I have a 3.9 GPA in the prereqs and overall, finished all prereqs, and have 4000+ hours of healthcare experience as a medical assistant, but I feel like I still might screw it up if I flub those responses.

I have a 3.8 GPA, finishing my bachelors degree in 3 years this June, 141 volunteer hours, CNA licensed, phlebotomy class, BLS certified, work as a CNA full time for the last year, my interview was flawless (in my humble opinion) & I am an alternate. I’m only 21. I was disappointed to find out that at the campus I applied to, there was a CNA2 clinical instructor who was one of the interviewers. Her students all were accepted. It’s kind of hard to complete with people who have made relationships with an interviewer who’s been able to observe their skills in person. So I’ll work for another year and try again next year.

I'm pretty sure after the application cycle is finished, you're able to request an application evaluation where they tell you what you can improve upon to become a better candidate for next year!
any one else apply to the Klamath Falls campus? One of my friends got in but I was put on the alternate list and I know of one other girl on the alternate list. I emailed OHSU to get more information and this was their response.
"we actually did not rank OIT campus alternates like we did the other campus alternates! I believe this is because there are not as many alternates on the OIT list as the other campuses. Otherwise, we would have been able to share this information with you. We don’t have access to your placement on the list or the amount of students on that list, but again, I can say that it’s not as large a list as the other campuses."
