OHSU BSN Fall 2017

Hi all I just thought I would start this, since there doesn't appear to be anything started for the Fall 2017 3 year BSN at OHSU. Feel free to update as you get emails regarding interviews, acceptances, etc. This week it looks like everyone should be hopefully getting a email hearing something if they are chosen for a interview. I wonder if due to the lack of any posts for the Fall 2017 that means that competition isn't as fierce as in prior cycles... this is probably not the case. But it seems like the cohort has been alot more quite then in the past.

Does the Milwaukie lot fill up early too?? Ugh...this is the only thing that I am not looking forward to dealing with...parking stresses me out!

Some days it does. Other days it doesn't. On the days we have class in the morning it's not usually a problem. On the days we have class in the afternoon I usually just drive and pay to park behind the Son. It's a pain but not bad enough to go to a different school. Haha.

Is there a parking by the Tram? I was thinking to park down there somewhere and take the tram, but first I need to find a good parking.

There is parking at the clsb but it fills quick and you have to buy the passes early. It's also expensive. Best bet is max or bus to tram. Or park on the hill somewhere.

You will have class in the clsb 2 days a week the first term and sim is down there. So some days you will either have to park there or take the max which stops directly in front.

Where did you guys buy the green scrubs? There is a store in Clackamas that sells scrubs. I wonder if we can buy things from there. The only similar color I found there is hunter.

Hunter is what you need. There is a place on macadam where you also get a discount saying you are going to OHSU. They have the most variety of green scrubs. Otherwise I try other that I can't find in Hunter and then order online.

I read that the color is forest green, so is it the same as hunter?

It is the same. I haven't found a single.pair called forest. We all have Hunter.

I have another question. How many pairs of scrubs do you guys have? 1 or 2? Just thinking about how many should I buy so I have extra if I need it.

1 or 2 is fine. Especially the first term.

Does it matter what style it is? There are with pockets and no pockets and other styles.

It's preference. They have to be plain green. I like ones with cargo pockets. I like wonderwink and dickies. A lot of other people have those too or greys anatomy. But you will be carrying a lot of things at times so I would make sure you at least have a few pockets.
