OHSU BSN Fall 2017

Hi all I just thought I would start this, since there doesn't appear to be anything started for the Fall 2017 3 year BSN at OHSU. Feel free to update as you get emails regarding interviews, acceptances, etc. This week it looks like everyone should be hopefully getting a email hearing something if they are chosen for a interview. I wonder if due to the lack of any posts for the Fall 2017 that means that competition isn't as fierce as in prior cycles... this is probably not the case. But it seems like the cohort has been alot more quite then in the past.

I'm a nursing student. I went to print something and started opening the door. Looked up and saw every one there for their essays!

I am just imagining Cosmo Kramer from Seinfeld!!! An entrance like that would have been priceless. Good luck an cheers to everyone!

Good for you! Are you waiting to hear back from OHSU Portland campus? I heard back from one of my schools yesterday and got an acceptance and while that felt amazing I too am holding out to hear back from my first choice (PCC). I had my interview a couple of weeks ago and I had a really good vibe and felt like the school would be a great fit for me. I believe they said May 8th via email we will find out results either way. Makes me nervous because it's cutting it close to my other response deadline but I have to at least see if I got accepted to PCC. Congrats again that is amazing! Have you heard back from any other schools yet? Is MHCC your second choice?

Yes, I'm waiting to hear back from the Portland campus. Congrats on getting an acceptance! I know the feeling though while still waiting to hear from top choice. I interviewed at pcc as well and yes, we will be hearing back on the 8th. Mhcc is the first I've heard back from, still waiting on ohsu, pcc and ccc. I'm honestly not sure what my second choice is so I'm just waiting to see if I get any other acceptances. Hope you get your acceptance at pcc!!

That is fantastic news! Congratulations to you on a well deserved accomplishment, all your hard work has paid off and you can begin the long awaited journey now! Are you still going to wait until you hear back from PCC on 5/8? I know you liked the campus there as well. I too got accepted into another school but I'm holding out for my PCC results. I'm really happy for you about your OHSU acceptance!!! Time to go celebrate!

I think I will wait for PCC as well, I love OHSU's program and always hear the best things about it, but it's tough to find housing in K-falls that will allow our dog and that isn't completely run down and nasty. lol. but I will happily make that sacrifice for 3 years if needed, however Portland is much more dog friendly and cleaner than Klamath Falls. Thanks so much, I appreciate that. I would love to have a beer haha.
