Anyone else applying to OHSU's accelerated bachelors program this year? The application seems to be open, though I'm not seeing a place to select a specialty within it.

Congratulations Calinursetobe! Has anybody else received an acceptance phone call?

Congrats to those getting phone calls :) I'm tempted to call the school and see if they made all of the notifications today. I'd really like to know for sure before the long weekend.

I emailed Rick and he said:

I know the faculty have almost completed making their decisions, so you should get either an email or call from our admissions office within the next couple of weeks. Thanks for bearing with us and please let me know if you have any additional questions.

That sounds slightly hopeful, but I'm still not clear why they'd know about some folks now and others weeks from now...

Since only one person on here has received a call and we have not received rejection emails, I think it is still possible that not all calls have been made.

Give it some time... it may take them some time to get through the list. If they are even making all the calls today. My phone call lasted a bit as she gave me the opportunity to ask questions. Don't lose hope! I have my fingers crossed for you!

I'm amazed you were able to get your wits about you to ask any questions. I also received the same phone call today and it was quite short because, well, I just wanted to get off of the phone and freak out, hoot and holler on the front porch on this freak 60ยบ sunny thaw day. I feel the same way, Calinursetobe -- my first choice, and my first response, and I look forward to meeting you, and the rest of our class, in a few months.

Those of you who've heard already-are you in for the DNP or the Masters or did they say?

Master's only -- I didn't apply for the DNP.

I didn't get a phone call until about... 2PM EST, and I don't know if they made them all today. I hope you get good news soon, from here or elsewhere. Good luck!

I only applied to the Masters program so I assume that that is the one I was admitted to, but I didn't actually ask. Maybe they are doing the DNP notices later?

Hey ya'll

First off. Congrats to those OHSU CNM people who got the good news. For those of you who haven't heard yet, I wouldn't freak out yet-they should let you know either way.

Does anyone know the protocol-if they call all the top people and then as people turn them down they move down a list???

I applied to the CNM and PMHNP both ABSN-NP and DNP and heard nothing from CNM so obviously that isn't happening, but I would appreciate if anyone who applied to the PMHNP to let us all know is they hear anything.

In the interview they told me they would tell us either way by the end of this month...The suspense is killing me, but I'm hoping the PMHNP program has just not started their calls yet...

how many other people out there got an interview and/or are waiting for a call.

Hi Lola-

I also applied for PMHNP track and have not heard anything back yet. It seems this specialty is working on a different timeline than the CNM specialty since the apps were due 2 months later initially and interviews were also later. I would assume from this that decisions would also be made and announced later. Crossing my fingers for you!
