OHSU Accelerated Bachelors to Masters Summer 2017 Cohort

Hey guys! I wasn't able to find a thread for students applying for the June 2017 start so I decided to Start one.

I thought it might be nice to hear from other prospective students going through the process. I submitted my application the first week of November and while I don't want to wish the holiday season away I'm already impatient to hear something back.

I'm in the same spot...I interviewed for the CNM program too and haven't heard anything :/ I'm a little frustrated that they wouldn't send out all the decisions at once, I was really sad to find to out that I most likely didn't get in from reading this thread haha. Hoping for the waitlist still but I have no idea when they will be handing down those decisions!

I called and left a message with the nursing school.

I just want to know so I can move forward with other options!

Don't give up hope yet for the midwifery program, I've noticed in past years threads the responses are pretty staggered. Good luck and hope you hear something soon!

When the midwifery department called last week, they said that for the acceptance to be "official" it had to be approved by the accelerated bachelor's program. I was told that I probably wouldn't get an email/mail acceptance until later this week. I'm guessing for applicants who have made the waitlist (I've heard they draw from it each year!), it's also pending that approval from the ABSN program.

My native tongue is Sarcasm. That isn't as well accepted in the workplace as it should be, so I have to fall back on English, much to my dismay.

To help you understand your current alternate status with us we have rated the alternates as highly”, moderately”, or somewhat” likely to be offered admission.

I got my waitlist email this morning! Does anyone who has been accepted know when the deadline is to accept your spot? Just want to get an idea of when I would be most likely to hear from them, thanks!

Congrats to you as well! I interviewed on 23rd. Are you admitted on Portland campus? I formed a group on facebook to connect with the cohort members. If you search OHSU FNP 2017, you should be able to find it.

I was on the alternate list for the accbacc to PMHNP program and I was just offered a spot because someone accepted an offer at another school. Thank you to whoever opened up the spot for me. Good luck at the school you chose. I thought the alternate list would be a dead end, but I'm incredibly excited to have been offered a seat in the class!

That was me!!! I am so glad you got it. I think we met at the reception, you came with your fiancé right? I accepted a spot at Yale but it was a tough choice because I really loved OHSU! Good luck and see you in the field someday!
