Hello, I'm currently working on my application for the OHSU ABS to PMHNP program. Wanted to start this thread to communicate with any other applicants (even if its for a different track).

If you're reading this, what program are you applying for, what is your current undergrad degree on and what is your healthcare experience? if any ?

Hi!

I am applying to the FNP program. I have an undergrad in Liberal Studies with a Dance Minor, and I currently work for an outpatient clinic as a clinic assistant. 

I know the application is due day after tomorrow, have you already submitted yours?

Hi Again! Did you already submit your application? I just submitted mine and NursingCAS said that it can take up to 4 weeks to verify so submit it 4 weeks before deadline?? hoping my application isn't counted as late since the deadline is tomorrow!

Hi there! I actually ended up not completing the application because I just found out I’m pregnant (talk about a surprise!) my husband and I decided it’s best to wait a couple of years before I try to apply ? wish you luck on this! Let me know if you get an interview though I would love to hear how those go! There is another thread under OHSU ABSN 2021 and a couple people mention they’re applying to the ABSN to DNP. I’m sure you can ask in that thread !

Hi all! I just submitted my application for the ABSN to PMHNP last night and also didn’t realize that it requires two weeks to verify. Admissions let me know that they wait two weeks post-deadline for apps to be verified or otherwise your application won’t be reviewed. Hoping it all works out. I feel like a dummy for waiting up until the deadline but one of my transcripts took forever to be received. Let me know how long your application took to be verified?!

I worked as an MA in ophthalmology for two years and have worked in clinical psych research for three years. Also was a medical scribe for one year!

Hi! Yeah my application still hasn't been verified. I also submitted it last night because it was the deadline! I am thinking of emailing admissions just to confirm that my application won't be counted as late!

Has anybody heard anything about interviews? I applied to the ABSN to Nurse Midwifery program. I know the dates are January 20th and 21st and February 4th and 5th. Just wondering if they have started notifying people about receiving an interview opportunity! ?

I applied to ABSN to DNP-PNP. Was waitlisted last year, haven’t heard anything about interviews this year. (Except a timeframe)

Also applied to the ABSN-PMHNP program. Really thought we’d hear by today considering we have about two weeks until first interviews ??‍♀️

Hi All,

So happy I found this thread, was pretty convinced I should have gotten an interview invite by now.

To answer OPs question, I got my BS in Biochemistry and Health Sciences in 2019. I have been working as a CNA since 2014 in different settings, currently I work in pre/post operative care. I applied to the ABSN- FNP program. 

Hope everyone gets interview invites soon!!
