I haven't seen a thread for this years application cycle, so here goes! It sounds like we should get interview invites soon (seeing as how the interviews are in just a few weeks). I called admissions the other day and they said the applications had just recently been sent out for faculty review, so it will probably be a bit until the invites go out. Anxiously waiting!

Yes, I'm hoping to go to both! I want to learn as much about the school as possible. How about you? Also, if you're still looking for places to stay, I recommend Airbnb. I found a cute studio about a 10 minute walk from the school for $60 a night.

Lizbit, I can recommend the University Place Hotel. The accommodations are merely adequate, but it's inexpensive, it's located right downtown and it offers breakfast. One may even be able to navigate public transportation in order to get up the hill from there! Good luck!

I think as long as you leave early to allow plenty of time, traffic will be lighter. Around 7 there's usually not very much. Taking the MAX would also be a good option.

I assume by now (it's 5:30pm West Coast time) that all the interviews are done. Good luck to everyone! It was a bit sad to have to do a phone interview instead of an in-person one because of the snow here in Portland (I flew all the way from Boston!) - but it was great to speak with some of the midwives and get to know more about the program.

Apparently we'll here back within the next few weeks!!!!!! So excited. I have totally fallen in love with OHSU!
