Yes, I'm hoping to go to both! I want to learn as much about the school as possible. How about you? Also, if you're still looking for places to stay, I recommend Airbnb. I found a cute studio about a 10 minute walk from the school for $60 a night.

I just got a call to schedule my interview for Feb. 6! I had pretty much given up hope, but I guess they are still making the calls!

Congratulations on the interview, LCrown! That is amazing! I still haven't heard anything, but it's good to know they are starting to call people. It's pretty rough that we don't hear anything if we don't get an interview, though, so we're kind of left hanging. Sigh. Anyway, yes, hoping for good news next week!

I haven't seen a thread for this years application cycle, so here goes! It sounds like we should get interview invites soon (seeing as how the interviews are in just a few weeks). I called admissions the other day and they said the applications had just recently been sent out for faculty review, so it will probably be a bit until the invites go out. Anxiously waiting!

I know there has been a bunch of confusion about this, but does anyone know if they interview nurse-midwifery applicants as well as PMHNP applicants? Have any nurse-midwifery applicants gotten interviews so far?

I haven't gotten any interview details, either. I think the "more information" is probably just a detailed schedule of the day: times, locations, etc.?

I got my letter today to interview for the women's nurse health practitioner/nurse midwifery specialty! Super excited! Interviewing on January 24th!

I just had mine, and it went really well. ------is really great and easy to talk to, and she just asked really relevant questions about why nursing, why Penn, etc.. Now we just have to wait until the first week of February to hear! Eeeeesh!

Hi lizbit. I also did not get invited to interview for the CNM specialty but am going to continue with the interview process. I just wanted to let you know that, as I understand it, all of the ABSN students are able to apply to the masters program after one quarter (I believe) of the BSN program and then submatriculate. At the info session in SF last month we were told that the acceptance rate for BSN students applying to the MSN program is somewhere around 95%. So being accepted to just the BSN portion still leaves you with a really good chance of going straight through with the masters!
