4550- Evidence Based Nursing

Nursing Students Ohio University

From looking at the classes starting in fall, I'm guessing that Evidence Based nursing is replacing Research? Anyone have any idea if stats is still required prior to taking this, as it was with Research?

I have taken BB before but I still am missing EPIC.... I have a question that my friend and me haven't been able to figure out: how do you edit a post? Is it even possible? I seemed to remember that I had done it in previous BB courses but can't seem to figure it out....

That is the Q/A about Module 1 - same as with Epic. Only thing posted there is a cleaner copy of the Module 1 quiz study guide. Maybe it will just "appear" when it is opened??

You got a study guide for the quiz???? All that's in my section q/a is a forum like for questions...maybe I'm not in the right spot. I may need to dig around some more..

I have never been able to figure out how to edit a post in Bb. Others have told me it is possible. If you figure it out let us all know please!

The study guide - and take it with a grain of salt, kinda like a study guide for family, know the concepts of and be able to apply - was originally posted in announcements but the font was too large and it didn't post cleanly.

OK - did the nongraded activity and boy and I glad it was not graded! Knew absolutely NOTHING about what was asked. Not in the readings - have no idea where it came from. What FUN!!

It was listed 2nd on the assignments page for Module 1. Called Ethics in Research - nongraded but required. Have noooo idea where those questions came from. I got 2 out of 7 right!

What was the purpose of that????? I searched that whole chapter and did not find a single reference to the newest revisions of the ( certain associations) code of ethics. And no mention of most of the others stuff either.

I got 2 right, my grade would be a 28%.

Be careful how you submit an assignment on blackboard. I tried to do what I could on on EPIC and got shut out.

Before, I could save an assignment but not submit it, and if I wanted to make a change or add something I could by deleting my first attachment and reattaching the new one.

I tried to do that with blackboard and it deleted my first saved attachment, but then submitted my blank assignment and locked me out.

I emailed the professor to request my first attempt be deleted and reopened.

My TA still has not responded to my email from 2 days ago, so I sent it to the prof. I hope she doesn't get mad.

Hey, I found a couple of rubrics... I went to my grades and was scrolling down and found there is a tab for some of the assignments, you can click on it and it will open with the rubric. Not all of the assignments have one, I will take what I can get.

You have to add the second file or the third or whatever revision you are submitting. Do not hit submit until you are ready. I never used that option in Epic - but tried it in Bb. No issues.
