I am starting a new thread for nurses starting in the online May 2013 cohort for ADN to BSN outreach initiative. The first class is NRSE 4510. What's on your mind guys!

I want to take 3 classes summer term 1 and they wont let me enroll in psy 1110. Says I didnt met reqs. I dont know why. I got an A in a D005 math class. Does anyone know what the reqs are for psy 1110. Am I missing something????

I had the same thing when I tried to register for my nursing courses. Turns out I was trying to register for courses under the academic outreach when I am in the online degree completion program. Once I figured that out and registered with the numbers for my program I was good. Not sure if that is the case in your situation, but worth mentioning.

Just email or call your advisor. The same thing happened to others with a glitch in the system. There are no prerequisite classes for stats. Welcome to OU!

Thanks everyone! I was actually scheduling courses under the right program....this time. lol. I had to contact my advisor and she had to do it for me.

Is anyone taking nutrition that had bought the $229 custom nutrition pack?? What the heck is a nutrition pack and do I REALLY need it?

No idea. I took nutrition at Tri-C for less than what 1 credit hour costs at Ohio University now. I'm done with everything except the 9 nursing courses.

I know it took them 3 months to complete my DARS report and they were very generous in the credits they transferred over.

It'll be nice to get as many students as possible for NRSE 4510 together on this forum, so if we have questions about the course we can help and advise each other.

Im taking NRSE 4510 on May 13th. Along with nutrition and Stats. Start NRSE 4560 June 17th. Im all for support groups. That is why Im here. :)

Mmmlaugh, if this is your first time taking classes at OU, you may want to make sure you don't overload yourself until you get a feel for it. Remember, these are not 5 week classes-these are 15 week classes crammed into 5 weeks.

Im trying it the first summer term. My kids will be in school the first 2 weeks. I work four days a week and Im plannning on taking a vacation day during the term which will give me 5 days in a row off halfway through. My stats class is actually 6 weeks long so that should help. My mom said she will help with my kids and around my house if i need it. I scheduled 1 class summer 2 term so I will know right away what my abilities are for next year. Have you taken any classes yet??
