Hello! I am starting a thread for all applicants for the OSU direc-entry MSN!
Hopefully we can keep each other sane through this process. I would love to hear about the experiences of others!
I had my interview today... pretty sure I bombed question number four. I did not like the LikeLive interview process. I don't know if interacting with a computer really demonstrates your personality and I think personality is an important factor to gauge appropriately if you're going to be working as a nurse.
How did your interviews go?
Hi there everyone. I am finally getting a post in here. I hope that it's not too late. I, too, have been taking pre-req's over the last few years and will be applying in the Fall. I have to take the GRE. I was .03 points from a 3.0, which might not even be enough to get in. Wondering if any of you who applied and didn't get in were given info about why you did not get in. The process is pretty stressful and can be soul crushing, but I'm hoping that I can get in. Taking the long way to be a midwife is not what I wish to do but might be the best option. I also have no formal training in nursing and have been planning on getting a job as a nursing assistant.
What are you all who did not get in doing now instead? I am almost 40 and have two kids, so of course, the option to do this program is wonderful. Please let me know what you all are doing and think and feel about all of this. Thanks!
Thanks, CraftyCats! I have 2 prereqs left--Phys (taking again....agh!) and Pharm in addition to the Nurc101 course. I have A's and B's in the rest. And I have to take the GRE test (and take a class for that). I was .03 points from the 3.0 cutoff (thought I was above that but apparently am not). I am hoping that I will get in. I have been at this for too long to give up.

I think having your pre-reqs done would be helpful, at least that's what they had said in info sessions. Getting a PCA job would be a great idea IMO!
I will keep you posted to see if I get in or not. I'm so nervous
