Ohio RN to BSN - Electives

Published

Hi all - thought it was time to start a new thread that dealt with electives. I'll start!! Business Comm - has anyone in Prof F's class gotten their book review completed? I am up to word 1150 or so ... and still have my evaluation and conclusion to add. Not sure what he is looking for - the last "book report/review" I did was 40 years ago! I don't think he minds .. verbose! I got an "excellent" on everything I have submitted so far that has gone over the required ...

busy is one word I can use to describe the class

and the other words?

Just busy - and I don't know what some of it has to do with business communications. Some of the articles are interesting - but a lot of busy work.

Rocket...Based on my own personal experience with Prof P and what other's are saying about Prof F, I'd take prof P's class in an INSTANT. By far my favorite class. The topics were relevant. My TA was amazing. And I just felt like I REALLY learned a lot in that class....

Delta-- I'm not sure I get a choice I see two bus comm classes one with 30 spots for prof f one with 8 spots with instructor unknown ...

How goes the creative communication Document????

Got into prof p! Yay!!

Not too bad - the project is actually OK after I got into it. It does have an application to business! Played hooky yesterday - went to a concert in Portland and didn't get back home until after 2 this am. Tired - lol. But oh so worth it! Crunch time trying to get it done before heading back to work tomorrow night.

I am plugging along - I have all my references and I am on 1600 words now. Currently typing reasoning behind the solution and making it up as I go LOL Still have to do my reading response too.... I have off until Sunday night though.....

I am finished except for the executive summary - that has to be written last anyway ... or so they say! I hear the make up as you go along ... I am right there beside you! My implementation plan is procedural - I am sure it will make him crazy. I am to the point that I do not care ... almost 6 weeks down and I am definately counting until time to

I sent you his reply about the executive summary in a PM -- did you get it??

yes- I did. He is the master of non-information, much like many other Prof's I have met! I found an explanation of an ex summary online - it's a condensed version of the report sort of like an abstract with much more detail.
